radio-stationRPI first went on the air in March 2014. This is the result of years of hard work by a group of dedicated professionals who started an educational campaign within the Haitian American community. Our goal is to bring awareness of its many talents and give back to the community.

RPI is the only Haitian, French-creole AM radio station of North Florida. Completely member-powered and listener-sponsored, providing the listening community with great music, news, sports, talk shows and promotion of our culture and beliefs. We exist and will continue to strive thanks to all the wonderful RPI members, staff, board and more than 5,000 listener-sponsors! The Authentic voice of the Haitian community!

RPI is a 50,000 watt commercial, listener/member supported radio station, licensed to word broadcasting the organization with which RPI is in contract to purchase the station. RPI is not a 501(c)3 charitable organization.

The force that drives this organization is unity, and therefore RPI provides programming that is consistent with those values.

Our music, arts, and cultural programming cover a wide range of expression , reflecting the diverse cultures we serve. We strive to foster an appreciation of music and cultures we serve.

We provide access to the airways for individuals and organizations within the community. The statement provides a forum for the gathering, exchange, and transmission of ideas in a cooperative environment that is respectful of each individual’s cultural or political perspective.

We are committed to the values expressed by our mission, especially as they relate to issues involving the Haitian-American community.
